BACK to the 90’S – Slip Dresses

 I know it has been awhile since my last post. We were in the midst of moving. What a chore!

Now, it’s back to the 90’s! The trend of the moment – Slip Dresses.  So big this summer.

 I found some cute ones in the magazines. They even accessorize with shoes.

My opinion is notice the model above can pull this off because she is younger.

 For most of us over the age of 40, 50, or even 60, there should probably be some adjustments.

I purchased this one at at a small boutique in Houston called Graceanna’s. It’s longer, two layers, so less clingy.

It was only $40.  For a trend that is my favorite price. If you don’t wear it often you didn’t waste a lot of money.

They can range a lot higher.

Back in May I had a suggestion of chunky jewelry for summer.  What a great idea. Metallic shoes also a plus.

  1. Hi, Dawn!! I love these cute slip dresses and used to wear them. Now, I wouldn’t DARE at my age, except with a cute lightweight sweater or jacket. They would be sweet with strappy shoes and a long necklace, too.
